About me: Tracy Forsythe
I’m a Certified Hypnotherapist, trained by Dr Paul McKenna and working online with clients all over the world. Based in Wexford, Ireland, I provide in-person hypnotherapy, bespoke yoga sequences and massage therapies alongside my online hypnotherapy programmes.
With a background in both performing arts and the corporate sector, I have a deep understanding of the very real challenges many people face, particularly in today’s world where stress and anxiety are so prevalent.
Hypnotherapy
(online and in person - Wexford)
I have found hypnotherapy to be a very powerful tool in my own life, helping with both physical pain, stress and anxiety. Having been lucky enough to train with world-renowned hypnotherapists, Dr Paul McKenna, Steve Crabb and Tina Taylor, I am delighted to be able to help clients deal with a broad spectrum of issues.
It is so rewarding witnessing the profound changes that come about through hypnosis: seeing people terrorised by panic attacks find peace, hardened smokers give up with ease, actors paralysed by stage fright blossom on stage and helping those who have struggled with confidence, find new self-belief and optimism. For a selection of real life examples, please see my testimonials page.
My approach
I use a combination of relaxation, soothing breath work, guided visualisation, hypnosis, N.L.P. (neuro-linguistic programming), sound and even a dash of humour.
Each client is treated individually and each session is adapted to how they respond. This means we can work together with the unconcious mind to find the best solutions which put the person at the heart of their own transformation. Alongside hypnosis, I teach simple, accessible techniques that can be practised outside of our sessions, enabling clients to reinforce the work we do together. Please see our F.A.Q.s for more information.
Yoga
(Wexford based)
When my children were small, I had some health issues which led me to take up yoga, learning from, among others, Pete Blackaby, Karen Vickers, Taravajra and Shara Crunden. I have been practicing daily since 2003. In 2025, I gained my Clinical Yoga Teacher Training, accredited by Yoga Alliance.
My approach
Daily yoga practice is a very important part of my life and I am excited to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with you. I will always be guided by you, the client and we will take things at your own pace.
I believe in getting the foundations in place first - how we stand, how we breathe, what we notice as we move or are still - we will often come back to the question: is the breath free? There’s no point in contorting ourselves into intricate, “advanced” yoga poses if we are clenching our jaws and holding our breath.
My focus is on working with our bodies: coaxing, not pushing; seeking ease through gentle movement, while promoting relaxation and wellbeing, with a light sense of inquiry.
I want you to feel safe and supported while we work together. Everybody’s body is different and, with yoga, comparison truly is the thief of joy. We start from where we are, see what we can do and leave ambition at the door. I am all for “embracing the wobble” - letting go of any striving and having fun while we investigate. Once we feel firm in our foundation, then we can move on, perhaps to more traditionally challenging poses, perhaps not. Exploration through yoga can be so enjoyable and is beneficial in many ways - physically, mentally and emotionally.
Massage therapy
(Wexford based)
I provide therapeutic massage tailored to your needs, helping you to release tension and promote healing.
Alongside traditional massage therapy, Brazilian Wood Maderotherapy is an increasingly popular service, whereby I uses wooden tools to encourage lymphatic drainage, body contouring and improve the appearance of cellulite with quick, visible results, without the need for invasive procedures.
My massage qualifications are accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists (F.H.T.), and recognised by National Occupational Standards (N.O.S.), Advanced Competency in Home Health (A.C.H.H.) and the Complementary Therapists Association (C.T.H.A.).
Hypnotherapy, massage and yoga can all be combined to provide a truly holistic experience, tailored to you personally.
I am a full member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (F.H.T.) and the International Alliance of Professional Complementary Practitioners (I.A.P.C.P.).
